Hello peanut gallery! My mother wanted a burger for lunch so I whipped up her favorite fries too. The fries are always darker when you leave the peeling on. They are not at all buned. Yes, my mother is 94 and that’s how she eats. She ate every bite along with a can of soda and then she had a giant cookie from hannaford for dessert. She said she didn’t eat the entire cookie. I didn’t check how much was left. lol I also gave her vinegar to dump on her fries if she wanted. Sometimes she like to just dip them in the vinegar. And they were loaded with salt. So if you want to live to 94, eat like she does. lol
